Friday Favorites: Part I

This week has been killer. Killer awesome. killer filled to the brim schedule of work and fun, killer feelings of love for my friends & boyfriend and killer amounts of excitement for the months to come.

The official one month countdown started for my April bride & groom. This bride is one of the most stylish women I have ever met, and I can't begin to describe my excitement for this upcoming event. Think SoHo House West Hollywood meets upscale backyard bash. So chic!

On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to visit Second Story Liquor Bar to preview the new restaurant's fantastic offerings. Four courses, hand crafted cocktail pairings and gelato from SSLB's sister restaurant Gelato Spot - and I was in heaven. It was an amazing evening! I'm looking forward to heading back once it opens to the public this weekend.

Thursday morning I shot out of bed to head to Camelback Flowershop for a photoshoot with shop owner Teresa, and Misha West, a local editorial/event stylist & creative maven. The three of us are currently working on a very special, top secret, supremely awesome, collaborative project, which will launch early next week! So many stomach flutters!

And now, on Friday, plotting brunch with out of town girlfriends, Spring Training fun & a whole lot of work/play!

Rainbow sprinkles on a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Yep, that's what this week felt like.

Behind the Scenes: Scottsdale Constellation Wedding

When Scott dropped to one knee and asked Chelsea to be his best friend, partner and wife for the rest of time, you could feel the joy echoed throughout the entire auditorium. I was lucky enough to be present when that important question was asked, along with 150 guests of the 2013 Arizona Blogger Conference. Quite the audience! She of course, said yes.

The constellation themed wedding took place at Clayton on the Park, January 18, 2014. The bride and groom were amazingly hands on in the design, layout, and feel of every detail in the wedding. Scott's resourceful internet scouring skills rounded up nearly 15 vintage telescopes for the reception tables, in addition to building the ceremony arch, the cutest "Best Day Ever" sign, AND designing the wedding logo and invitation. He was one talented groom!

Beautifully dark navy linens lined the reception, with the floral echoing the yellow, navy and white color theme of the event. White anemones, ranunculus, and babies breath popped in the centerpieces, along with the sunniest yellow dahlias and billy balls. The venue is beautifully airy, filing every corner with the most gorgeous natural light.

The bride, and her amazing mermaid hair, looked STUNNING in her gown and BHLDN crown. Her maids wore navy, and her groom, a fantastic charcoal suit.
