An Introduction

Hello lovely blog readers!  


Katherine here, owner and lead planner at Lucky & In Love. I thought I'd take a few minutes to tell a little bit about myself here on the blog, and in return, I'd like to get to know you as well! So we can become the greatest of friend soulmates and plan your dreamy wedding together, and all live happily ever after. Isn't that everyone's end goal?

So here goes! I am a seattle native, a small business owner, a coffee lover, a phoenix resident and local supporter. I hold a degree in communication and public relations, and have an extensive background in events. I am the daughter of a creative genius of a mother, who's catering & decor company exposed me to the world of events at the young age of 5. Since that time, I've been building my great love for this industry, with experience in catering, bartending, religious ceremonies, weddings, tablescape and gift basket design, fashion shows, and all the 6 inch ribbon curling fun that goes on in between.

I truly believe there is a reason to celebrate something  every single day of our lives. That being said, my heart lies with weddings. The love story, the commitment, the first time the groom sees his bride, the fathers and their last moments with their baby girl, the care and detail that goes in to executing a wonderful day for friends and family to enjoy, all reasons why this will forever be my dream job.

So cheers to celebrating love, whether your big day was thirty years ago, last month, this year or on the horizon. And for all my future couples- I can't wait to work with you!
